WBC Eurasia is the official Eurasian regional body of the World Boxing Council — one of the most recognized boxing organizations in the world. We oversee sanctioning, fighter rankings, licensing, and boxing development across Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and East Asia.

WBC Eurasia was established to bring the credibility and standards of the World Boxing Council to one of the world’s most diverse and fast-growing boxing regions. From the steppes of Kazakhstan to the arenas of Dubai, we are committed to developing professional boxing at every level.

Gafur Rakhimov is the founding President of WBC Eurasia and a key figure in the development of professional boxing across the Eurasian region. Under his leadership, WBC Eurasia has grown to encompass 30+ member nations, sanctioned over 48 professional championship events, and established one of the most active regional boxing bodies affiliated with the WBC Global organization. His vision is to make Eurasia a premier destination for world-class professional boxing.

Alen Shyhyyev focuses on expanding professional boxing across the Eurasian continent and creating strategic pathways for rising local prospects to enter the global WBC rankings. His leadership is dedicated to elevating competition standards and strengthening cooperation within the regional boxing community.

Mykola Kravchenko oversees day-to-day operations, sanctioning processes, and strategic partnerships for WBC Eurasia. He serves as the primary liaison between WBC Global and the regional member federations, managing all three of WBC Eurasia’s core projects.
